Wishing You Hope And Comfort In 2021

If you are reading this post, it means you survived one of the worst years in modern human history. COVID-19 is still around, and so are you. However, you may have lost a loved one or you may know someone who lost someone in 2020. My heart and my prayers are with you. I pray that the coming year will be much better for us all, but no one knows for sure. We just have to wait and see.

Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3: 13-14

Here, the apostle Paul is talking about getting to know Christ better and to become more like Him. He told his listeners that he had not yet gotten to that point but he was “pressing” toward that goal. What are you pressing toward? What is your goal for 2021? Do you want to draw closer to God? Do you want to enjoy better health, freedom from worry and stress?

Whatever your goal might be, you must “press” toward it. Nothing worth having comes easy. If it is to draw closer to God, you would have to pray more, study more, engage with other believers more. If you desire better health, you would have to work harder at including more physical activity into your day, eating the right foods, getting sufficient rest and spending more time with God. These activities will also help you to combat worry and stress.

It might be easy to say yes, I want to do these things, but implementing them can be difficult. This is where hiring a health coach can be helpful. A health coach will help you identify those areas where you need to make lifestyle changes, set goals and objectives for those changes, and help you stay on track. If you are serious about making those changes in 2021, I encourage you to fill out the form below.
