Breast Cancer Awareness Month

It  seems like everyone I know either has breast cancer or knows someone who does, and this is why October has been set aside as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It’s not that we are not aware of this epidemic – 63, 900 cases of non-invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed this year – but are we doing all that we can do?

Mammograms, education, support from our families and a healthy lifestyle can go a long way toward getting rid of this disease. For the remainder of this month, I will post articles on how you can deal with breast cancer and help the global initiative to rid the world of this disease.
